In anticipation of his return to Italy, FA Euro New York has signed youth player Thriston Briscoe. Thriston, a Jamaican National Team player, was one of the latest club players to be scouted by a professional team due to his performances with the club during the Viareggio Cup earlier this March. Thriston received a trial with ASD Seravezza Calcio and greatly impressed the coaching staff for the Tuscany based club. He is scheduled to return this summer once the USL League Two season concludes where he aims to continue his form with FA Euro New York.
It will be Thriston's first season playing for the club's senior side as he will play alongside teammates Nermin Buljubasic, Sory Konate, and Marcus Gabrielli who have also been announced as recent first team signings.
"We were incredibly happy for Thriston as he came closer to achieving his lifelong dream of playing professional football. He did wonderfully well in Italy. The compliments and incredibly positive feedback sent by the Seravezza staff about his performance in Italy gave us great satisfaction. Now, we want him to continue to do great work during the USL League Two before he embarks to Italy in the summer where we hope he remains for good." - Marco Balsamo, Executive Director
