Kyle Parish Announced As First USL 2 Signing

BREAKING: Kyle Parish, Australian centerback of Long Island University, has signed with the club for the upcoming USL League Two season. Kyle Parish of Toowoomba, Australia, recently played his first season with Long Island University. He had a significant role in the team's success of reaching the NCAA Tournament. Kyle started in all twenty games for the Pioneers, receiving a second team all-conference honoree. He helped lead a team defense that recorded nine shoutouts and a 0.92 goals-against average.

"This is a great opportunity for me to sign for a USL League Two side. FA Euro New York is a very well established club that hosts a professional, top level environment that I would like to be apart of. I'm honored to have this opportunity and hopefully I will contribute a lot to the team going forward." Kyle, says.

Johan Mauritzson, USL League Two Team Captain, describes Kyle as a hard working centerback with strong technical skills which allows him to dictate the game from the back. "Kyle has the mentality and skill level to be a top-player for us throughout the season. Seeing him play for the Pioneers, dictating the game from the back, gives us enough confidence to say that we have found ourselves a player that can grow within our development system and hopefully also allow him to gain exposure for playing at a high level with the club."

There is no doubt the Aussie has big aspirations for the upcoming USL League Two season, aiming to improve his game to hopefully take the next step in his career. "My aspirations for the upcoming season is obviously to be competitive and win every game possible. With that being said, to achieve this, it will take tremendous commitment and teamwork to get the job done. Personally I am using this as a bridge for me to improve as a player and help me go on to the next level which FA Euro has done in the past for several great players. We want to make play-offs and hopefully win the conference." Kyle Parish concluded.

Welcome to the family, Forza Kyle!
