The IMG Boy's Invitational Cup schedule has been released, providing some mouth watering match-ups for the club's 2007, 2005, and reigning champion 2003 teams.
Event Overview
The IMG Cup Boys Invitational continues to attract the nation's most elite soccer clubs to participate in unrivaled competition.Located at the world-renowned IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., the IMG Cup Boys Invitational offers the best fields, facilities and tournament organization for youth players and fans.
As the home facility for the U.S. U-17 National Team and a training venue for top-level teams like the U.S. Women’s National Team, Malmo FF (Sweden), D.C. United, Seattle Sounders and more, IMG Academy has a proven reputation for executing top quality events.
Competition Format
This three-day, round-robin tournament offering U13-U19 teams, three-games as well as a Super Group Division. The event begins on Thursday evening with team registration. Game play begins on Friday and ends Sunday.
All teams will be scheduled to play 1 game a day including Friday. Trophy Presentations will follow the final game on Sunday to the top team in each flight. IMG Cup group champions will be determined by points accumulation in Group play and will not feature any playoff games.
