Trio Returning from Suspension vs. U23 NY Red Bulls

BROOKLYN, NY--Last weekend, the FA Euro New York PDL club extended a streak that is not a good streak to extend what so ever. They continued their scoreless streak to three straight games which includes 310 minutes (including stoppage time) of no goals scored. Reading United AC was not friendly to FA Euro on the field, where there were a plethora of calls that were controversial according to fill in head coach Marco Balsamo. "There were calls, that easily could've gone in our favor, and we've been on the unlucky side of the stick the last three games, and we need the confidence to get out of this funk." Euro dropped the game last Saturday in Pennsylvania 2-0 with hopes to get back on a winning path versus the red hot New York Red Bull U23 club.

In the home opener versus the Ocean City Nor'Easters on May 25th, multiple red cards were handed out by the officials, in regards to a blown call, ball boy placement, and simply, two yellow cards which equals a red card. Head Coach Joe Balsamo received a red card because of a ball boy comment, where he stood up for his club. Referees didn't like the comment he said, where he was ejected an issued a suspension for the Reading match up plus a fine.

Charlie Ledula received a red card due to the two yellows he received in the later stages of the home opener back a week ago, where he also missed the Reading match up due to suspension. Adam Marcu was handed a red card due to "disrespectful behavior towards an official" where he allegedly yelled an explicative word according to sources. No confirmation from the team regarding that situation. But Marcu and Ledula will be back on the active roster this Saturday versus the U23 affiliate for the New York Red Bulls.

FA Euro is still missing one of their best players on the field in LIU Post star Jason Lampkin, who is still suffering from a knee injury suffered outside of training. He will be OUT for tomorrow once again. Lampkin #9, has one of the two goals scored for Euro this entire season, when he scored against Evergreen FC a month ago, in Virginia.
